Hints:

- If you don't see your application, look at the list in the upper right, which will give you the right lookup guide.

- The engine often shows it's size and model on top or on the air filter box - just open your hood and look.

- Air or oil filters can sometimes be different on different versions of the same engine, but those versions are often just engine model updates during the year, or differences in exhaust or emissions tuning for California. You can look at your VIN number code, or just check all versions of your engine size: if you see that all of the 3.2L versions list the same oil and air filter numbers, then the VIN code usually doesn't matter.

You'll find your lubrication fluid recommendations for engine, transmission, differentials, power steering and brakes, as well as filters for air, oil, fuel, transmission, and your interior cabin filter.  You'll even find listings for the spark plugs and wiper blade options that are recommended for your vehicle.

Near the end, you'll see listed how many grease fittings you have, and much fluid your vehicle takes in each area - like the quarts of engine oil or pints of differential fluid. You'll even see the recommended OEM torque spec for all your filler plugs and drain plugs.

How often should I change my vehicle fluids?

We admit it - that's a tough question for an engineer to answer, because we want to know all your vehicle details to give you the best answer.  However, here's a rundown of how to triple remaining vehicle life, including lessons from the Million Mile Van:

• For Amsoil synthetic fluids including engine oil, transmission fluid, gear oil and more, it's easy because they have an incredible product recommendation guide, which gets frequently updated to the latest information. Be sure to check the guide to see if your engine has known problems with fatal sludge buildup - it includes special instructions. This guide is also excellent for modified and custom vehicles, because it shows the best lubricants for different applications and power levels.
   

• Transmission Fluid:  After the first 30,000 miles on your vehicle, it's time to change the fluid to maximize its' life. Change it now to Amsoil synthetic transmission fluid, then in most cases change them again every 50,000 miles (severe duty) or 100,000 miles (normal use). • Brake Fluid: Safety experts recommend you "bleed" them once a year, and change the brake fluid every two years. Why worry? Because your panic-stop distances can increase by 20% in just 3 years, and continue to get worse. It's our opinion that old brake fluid is one of the largest contributors to non-alcohol accidents. Please be the driver who could stop - not the one who rear-ended a vehicle, or swerved into a ditch.
   

• Power Steering Fluid:  Most people - even the professionals - completely ignore this. That's why power steering systems fail after 110 to 200,000 miles.  Here's how to keep your system from wearing out:
  
  Every 50,000 miles, use a fluid extraction pump to suck the fluid out of the reservoir. (Here you can buy the best cheap heavy-duty extraction pump we've ever used.) Then fill it up with Amsoil Synthetic Universal Power Steering Fluid. Most vehicles will take 1/2 to 1.5 bottles of fluid to refill the reservoir.
   

• Differentials and transfer cases - these tough gear boxes usually fail because their gear lube failed long ago. The first fluid change should be at 5,000 miles to Amsoil synthetic gear lubes to maximize their life by removing break-in particles and heat-damaged fluid, then in most cases change them again every 50,000 miles (severe duty) or 100,000 miles (normal use). OIL FILTERS:
